Last week Strelia had the pleasure of hosting a seminar on “Arbitrators’ Conflicts of Interest – A Comparative and Pragmatic Perspective” organized by CEPANI40 at our new Brussels office.

We were honored to welcome four inspiring speakers, one of them being Joanna Kolber, Partner in our Dispute Resolution practice. She was joined by her co-panelists Sylviane Bartholomeeusen (ENGIE) et Jean-François Le Gal (Pinsent Masons) in a panel moderated by Iris Raynaud (Hanotiau & van den Berg).

They discussed various intricacies of navigating arbitrator appointments and concerns of impartiality and independence during ongoing arbitration proceedings, including colorful practical examples.

Last but definitely not least, it was great fun to network over drinks in our summer garden!
