On September 18, 2025, our Corporate and M&A Partner Katrien Vorlat will co-chair the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Subcommittee meeting of the ABA Business Law Section in Toronto, together with Elliot Greenstone (Davies, Canada).

The session, titled “Navigating Uncertainty: How Canadian Private Equity Funds Are Adapting to Geopolitical Shifts and Regulatory Complexities,” will take place at the Sheraton Hotel Toronto at 11:00 a.m. CET.

They will moderate a debate where Peter Dowse (Ironbridge Equity Partners – Canada) and Tara Rosenblatt (Mastercard Foundation Asset Management – Canada) share some insights on how they recalibrate their investment strategies to address a constantly changing regulatory environment as well as a shifting geopolitical landscape.
