Louise De Meese is lid van onze Intellectuele Eigendom en Technologie praktijkgroep.

Louise ondersteunt cliënten bij vraagstukken met betrekking tot auteursrecht, bedrijfsgeheimen, merken, oneerlijke marktpraktijken en regelgevingskwesties. Zij adviseert hen ook regelmatig over het beheer en de handhaving van hun merken- en modellenportefeuilles.

Voor haar komst naar Strelia werkte zij bij twee boutique advocatenkantoren die gespecialiseerd zijn in intellectueel eigendomsrecht. Tijdens deze periode ontwikkelde zij haar expertise over een breed scala aan IE-gerelateerde onderwerpen. Zij leerde complexe juridische vraagstukken op een praktische en commercieel doeltreffende manier aan te pakken.


Opleiding

Louise studeerde in 2020 af aan de KU Leuven (cum laude). Haar studies waren gericht op economisch en internationaal recht. Zij studeerde ook een jaar als Erasmusstudent aan Durham University. Na haar studies behaalde zij een LL.M. in Europees Mededingingsrecht en -regelgeving aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA) en volgde zij de Professionele Opleiding voor Benelux Merken- en Modellen gemachtigde bij de BBMM.

Toelating

Louise De Meese is sinds 2021 lid van de Brusselse Balie.
