Yaël Rager is a member of the Competition law, Regulatory & Foreign Investment team.

Yaël’s practice focused on EU and Belgian competition law, covering, restrictive practices, litigation, merger and distribution, with a particular focus in the automotive, pharmaceutical and private security sectors. She also developed experience in Foreign Investment procedures and in White Collar Crime.

She is also an approved mediator, which enables her to apply principled negotiation techniques to achieve deals or resolve client disputes out of court.

Before joining Strelia, she worked in the Competition & Commercial Law department of a Belgian law firm.

Education
Yaël holds a law degree in European law from Maastricht University (LL.B.), in international business law from Tilburg University (LL.M.) and a master's in Belgian law from the Free University of Brussels (Vrij Universiteit Brussel). She also graduated from King’s College London (LL.M.) where she specialized in competition law.

Yaël was admitted to the Brussels Bar in September 2020.
