Strelia’s Brussels office was established in 2013 by a handful of experienced partners from international firms who were accompanied by their associates.
They were enthusiastic about continuing the delivery of the same range and quality of services to the same category of clients but in a way in which the clients (and their interests) and the well-being of the lawyers at the firm would be at the centre of everything they do.
Strelia’s Brussels office focusses on general corporate law, commercial matters, and dispute resolution. We advise clients on M&A, Private Equity, Corporate, Banking & Finance, Capital markets, Commercial Agreements, Restructuring & Insolvency, Tax, Employment & Benefits and Dispute Resolution in those areas.
Our level of service and high quality of work match the standards of international firms, but we never compromise our commitment and flexibility towards our clients, our responsiveness, and our cost-effectiveness, which are the traits of a boutique firm.
Most of our partners have worked in international firms before founding or joining Strelia. In jurisdictions other than our own, we work with like-minded firms, i.e., those that hold the same values as ours and that deliver the same level of quality in their work and client servicing, with which we have established strong relationships over the years.
Our Brussels Partners
Strelia’s Luxembourg office was established in 2017, in recognition of the importance of Luxembourg as a top-ten financial center worldwide and as the world’s second most important hub for investment funds, behind only New York. Our Luxembourg office also addresses the needs of our mainly French and Belgian clients with activities in both Belgium and Luxembourg.
Strelia’s Luxembourg office focuses on the practice areas of Corporate and M&A, Banking and Finance, Investment Management and Tax. Additionally, we handle disputes before the Luxembourg courts as well as arbitrations in these areas of law. We also advise clients with respect to Luxembourg real estate, insolvency and restructuring, labour and employment, as well as general commercial law.
Our Luxembourg lawyers serve principally international and national corporate and private equity clients with respect to structuring and acquisition work conducted through Luxembourg, and investment fund promotors, managers and investors who choose Luxembourg because of its favorable legal and regulatory environment for the setting-up of alternative investment funds.
