Il est actuellement le Managing Partner du cabinet.

Olivier assiste les clients dans le cadre de cessions et d’acquisitions d’entreprises (actions et actifs), de fusions et des restructurations de sociétés, au niveau national et international. Il possède également une expertise spécifique dans les contrats commerciaux organisant des formes de coopération entre entreprises, comme les joint-ventures et le contrat de franchise.

Olivier combine son activité de négociation des transactions avec une pratique des contentieux couvrant les mêmes matières. Il représente donc également nos clients dans le cadre de litiges, devant les tribunaux et dans le cadre d’arbitrages, dans le domaine du droit des sociétés et des contrats.

Son activité en règlement des litiges porte en particulier sur les réclamations post-acquisition (déclarations et garanties, ajustement de prix, earn out, engagements de non-concurrence, etc.), les conflits entre actionnaires, la responsabilité précontractuelle et les devoirs et la responsabilité des administrateurs. Il donne également des avis dans ces domaines.

Olivier est l’un des rares avocats belges à être reconnu par les principaux guides à la fois pour sa pratique transactionnelle et pour sa pratique contentieuse. Grâce à cette combinaison de compétences, il est bien armé pour protéger ses clients de manière efficace lors de la négociation et la rédaction des conventions et il maîtrise parfaitement la mécanique des opérations d’acquisition et des conventions d’actionnaires en cas de litige.


Formation

Olivier Clevenbergh a obtenu son diplôme de droit de l’Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) en 1989 et un Diplôme spécialisé (Licence spéciale) en Droit économique de la même université en 1991.

Admissions

Olivier a été admis au Barreau de Bruxelles en 1989. Il a été admis en tant que solicitor en Angleterre et au Pays de Galles en 1995.
