Joanna Kolber treedt regelmatig op als arbiter, secretaris van arbitrale colleges en advocaat in commerciële ad hoc of institutionele arbitrages (CEPANI, NAI, ICC) en litiges in verschillende sectoren zoals de bouw, energie, verzekeringen en herverzekeringen, en M&A.

Ze begon haar carrière als advocaat in 2012. Voordat ze in september 2013 Strelia vervoegde, was ze advocaat bij een internationaal advocatenkantoor in Antwerpen. Daarvoor was ze assistente aan het Instituut voor Internationaal Privaatrecht aan de Katholieke Universiteit Leuven en werkte ze als advocaat gespecialiseerd in het internationaal privaatrecht bij het Kruispunt Migratie Integratie (Expertisecentrum voor Vlaanderen-Brussel). Joanna werkte ook in de Verenigde Staten, in Duitsland en in Polen.

Opleiding

Joanna Kolber behaalde een diploma in de rechten aan de Jagiellonian University van Krakau, Polen in 2006. Ze behaalde in 2005 ook een diploma aan de Schule des Deutschen Rechts (Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Jagiellonian University), in 2004 een diploma aan de School of American Law (Columbus School of Law, The Catholic University of America, Jagiellonian University), en in 2007 een diploma aan de Academy on International Arbitration, Central-Dis, in Keulen, Duitsland.
