Jennifer Huybrechts is a member of our Employment & Benefits practice.

Jennifer started her career as a lawyer in 1996. She has worked at international law firms and advised clients on matters of labour and employment law and commercial litigation. Before re-joining the Bar in 2026, she worked as a regional inhouse legal and compliance director for a multinational company active in the life sciences sector.


Education

Jennifer Huybrechts obtained her Master's degree in Law (cum laude, 1995) from the KU Leuven, including an Erasmus exchange at Lund University (1993–1994), and simultaneously completed a Certificate in Philosophy at the Philosophy Academy of the KU Leuven. She then obtained an LL.M. in International Business Law at King's College London (1996).

Later, she completed a Postgraduate Master of Laws, specialising in Intellectual Property Rights, (cum laude) at KU Brussels/Leuven (2004–2008) and is currently completing a Postgraduate Master of Laws – Labour and Employment Law – at the VUB.
